The African American Museum is an institution dedicated to the research, identification, selection, acquisition, presentation, and preservation of visual art forms and historical documents that relate to the African American community.  The Collections of the Museum combined with its related activities serve to assist all people to understand the African American experience.

*All proceeds will directly support the Museum’s public education programs, special exhibitions and day-to-day operations of the Museum.  Since its inception the Museum’s six-week summer camp has benefited more than 50,000 disadvantaged youth from the immediate area of South and West Dallas.
